Transplant Links is currently preparing for missions to Trinidad and Ghana, where its support and expertise is vitally needed to help relatives donate one of their kidneys to a family member who desperately needs it. The children in Trinidad who need transplants have already been identified, and the team is set to travel out there in April.
Fund-raising for these missions is ongoing, with funds desperately needed for travel and subsistence of the medical teams, and for the costs of equipment and continuing support of the centre.

Transplant Links recently arranged for Felix from Ghana to come to the UK for a life-saving transplant. His father donated one of his kidneys to save Felix' life when he had just a few weeks left to live. The operation was a great success.

Well done Aimee for helping raise funds for Felix by selling friendships bracelets. Aimee wanted to help with the fundraising for Felix by finding as many friends for him as she could and asking them to donate £1 for a friendship bracelet. Many friends came forward and Aimee raised a fantastic £400!
Well done to Arijit, Dele and Pran who drove from Plymouth to Mali in a £100 car to raise funds for TLC. Many thanks too to Fortwills in Birmingham for such a fantastic paint job on the car (repairs@fortwill.com). See pictures of the trip in our gallery.
Transplant Links relies upon charitable donations and volunteers to support its work.
